Issue and risk
The plastic cover over the liftgate hinge can loosen and separate, potentially leaving debris in traffic or striking other vehicles, particularly at higher speeds.

- 2025: Supplier quality issue causing loss of adhesion in the “dual lock” attachment feature.

Remedy
