Omoda UK will introduce its first full-hybrid, the OMODA 5 SHS-H, in March. The model adds a self-charging hybrid to the brand’s UK lineup, targeting efficiency and day-to-day convenience with on-the-road pricing starting at two trim levels and long-duration warranty coverage.

Powertrain and efficiency
The SHS-H pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a full-hybrid system and a dedicated DHT automatic transmission, delivering up to 150 kW combined output. With a 51-litre fuel tank and a stated 1.83 kW battery, Omoda claims an overall driving range of 650+ miles and up to 53 mpg WLTP.
Colours and options
- Galena Silver
- Garnet Red
- Obsidian Black

Two-tone paint finishes will be available on selected options.
Warranty
Standard coverage includes a seven-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty and an eight-year/100,000-mile hybrid battery warranty, in line with Omoda’s wider UK range.
Positioning and availability
Framed as a response to UK demand for electrified options without charging changes, the self-charging SHS-H complements Omoda’s petrol, full hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric offerings. UK sales begin in March as the brand seeks to broaden its presence and powertrain mix.
